The Hand-Woven Rebozo shawl is cherished in the pakistani tradition. It is a versatile shawl worn by women who wrap it around their bodies. Its significance transcends cultural boundaries, as it finds practical application in pregnancy and childbirth.
Midwives, doulas, and birth attendants frequently use these rebozos to help position babies during pregnancy and labour. With its soft, woven fabric and ample length, the rebozo provides gentle support and maneuverability, facilitating optimal fetal positioning and maternal comfort during birthing.
It’s important to note that each Hand Woven Rebozo is a unique piece, lovingly crafted by hand. Consequently, slight variations in size and colour are expected, adding to the charm and authenticity of these traditional garments.
In essence, the Hand-Woven Rebozo embodies cultural heritage and practical utility, symbolising tradition and being a valuable tool in maternal healthcare practices.
Please note that these rebozos are handmade, so there may be slight differences in size and colour.
