Rusty Brown Navajo rug - Dhurrie Rug - Kilim Rug

This rug has a bold, geometric design inspired by traditional Native American patterns. The main color is a warm rusty brown, with striking black and white shapes that create a balanced, symmetrical look. You’ll notice shapes like crosses, arrows, and zigzags, all arranged neatly in the center. The outer edge is a soft cream color with small brown and black squares, and the border is black with tassels on both ends.

Dhurrie weaving forms a cherished part of Pakistan's glorious weaving tradition. A "dhurrie" is a Pakistani and an Indian term for handwoven rug, an item which is often used in home furnishings. This craft originates from hundreds of years ago from the sub-continent and has continued through generations.
This ancient craft utilizes the Panja technique, employing traditional pit looms and a claw-like tool called "Panja" to weave intricate designs.
Each dhurrie takes considerable time to create due to its intricate nature.
